    Greetings.
The story of this motorbike starts in about 13 year ago when my Dad bring it home. Drive it a little and from then sits in the backyard. It was uncovered and rust all the way. In that time i used to drive cross bikes and to be honest i dont like this Suzuki. Now my goal is to strip it entire, powder coat frame, full respray and service to get it to top shape.

Yesterday I started working, my goal was to ignite it and check for any problems of long staying. I bought 4 new spark plugs, starter spray and carburettor spray. I cleaned the carburetor and the tank and put a filter before the carburetor. At first, it seemed as if only two of the cylinders were trying to ignite. Maybe I was wrong and but I started to spin the 4 screws for the idle mix. With the spray starts but could not idle and in full throttle it stumble in aroud 7K and then boom 12K. So my start is gone, idle is gone and mid range. Open the carb again to look the jets for clogging but everything was clean.Play with mixture screw again and it starts without spray and revs better. I was thinking thats it i will start to strip it, but noo... Today tried to to start it without any success. Again with spray and no idle. I was looking for repair kit for the carb just to know that everything is good and everything need is just a tunning, but again bad luck... cant find any spare parts for this bike. If you know from where i can purchase carb parts please tell me btw carb is Mikuni BSW27. Next few days i will strip it and begin to make new wire harness. i will upload photos of the entire process of restoring. IMG_20190423_115330.jpg IMG_20190423_163807.jpg

What are they main difference? I'm considering buying separately O-rings and gaskets by watching part numbers from this photo 1-5aec7bfa50.jpg

Canada is the only country we have issues shipping to.
The 1982-83 model is different from the later models and we don't stock those.

If the manifold spacings are correct, it could be possible to use the across carbs ??? might be an idea if you have lots of trouble finding the original carb parts.

Đ¢oday was one day progressing on the Rusty Suzi restoration. I started with disassembly, so I had the opportunity to see what parts I would have to order. In the process, I did some bumps, such as breaking the choke IMG_20190504_200206.jpg , and finding things I had not noticed at the first look of the bike. A cracked intake was perhaps the cause of uneven engine performance IMG_20190504_195724.jpg . Other not so pleasant finds were the broken temperature sensor and the cracked dashboard which i will try to fix IMG_20190504_195938.jpg IMG_20190504_200416.jpg . For the next few days, I planned to clean the engine with degreasing and paint preparation, and also check the adjustment of the valves, replacing the oil filter and eventually a water pump IMG_20190504_200434_BURST001_COVER.jpg .
The brakes are to be revised. And other purely cosmetic works remain. I keep searching for original parts that would help me get closer to the most authentic look.
Last night, while I was looking for parts again, I came across yahoo auction japan, but unfortunately there is no International shipping. I found a site that offers them exactly to order what I want and they send it to me for a commission. It's about White Rabbit Express. I would be glad if any of you who used their services had an impression. There are several "Buying Houses" in Japan that will bid for you on Yahoo Auctions. The one I have used the most is Zenmarket.jp
They all work in a similar fashion, they charge you to send them money (small processing fee) and also charge you a fee for processing the bid (once you win it of course). Zenmarket only has a 300Y fee where others scale their fee based on the value. They all pretty much use EMS (Japan Post) for shipping and some items are forbidden. You cant ship fuel tanks, shock absorbers, forks, engines and a lot of engine parts because of oil contamination etc. But the Auctions let you know what is blocked etc.
While prices may seem low estimate on the item costing you about 3 to 4 times the Auction price by the time you land it. It does make a difference when you are after parts that you cannot find anywhere else though.
    Good luck with the build..
