    Hey everyone!

Just as the topic says, I'm really torn between the MC22 and the Suzuki Across. Coming from a scooter, I love the storage idea of the Across (and the looks), but I love the higher redline, lightness, and probably better reliability/parts availability of the CBR250RR.

I'm not getting rid of the scoot, so will I be better off with the CBR? Everyone seems to say not to scream the bike to redline anyway to prevent damage, so maybe the Across will satisfy me enough (especially with it's storage)?
How is parts availability for each bike? I sorta struggled to find things like clutch plates for the Across without digging through catalogues, whereas the CBR seemed to be available readily.

Cheers for any help you might have!

    Hey Broom Broom,

Welcome to the forum, its a tough choice and my advice would be go and ride each of the bikes and see what tickles your fancy. Both the CBR250RR and GSX250F are both amazing bikes but from 2 different genres, the CBR is out and out an Race Replica where as the Across is more of an Urban Sports tourer, its a lot more upright and is comfortable to ride but has a much smaller tank. The Across has a steel frame and is quite heavy compared to the CBR250.

There are 3 variants of the CBR250RR, L , N and R with the latter being sold in Australia from new, the L and N's were imported from Japan as grey bikes. The Across has 2 iterations and was sold here new. Either way, parts are plentiful from your dealer, local bike shop or on-line. Having owned and ridden both bikes, I am a big fan of both.

Let us know what you decide on , good luck !!!

    Chris
