    BIKE BEEN FOUND IN MANFRED STREET WINDALE FROM ANOMINOUS TIP TO POLICE. HAS BROKEN IGNITION SWITCH AND WILL BE FINGERPRINTED TMR.WILL INSPECT AT HOLDING YARD IN MORNING.

    been and inspected. could not touch as not fingerprinted yet. ignition barrel is smashed but could not check fuel cap as cover was on it.costs so far are 220 for towing fee to holding yard, quote for ignition lock wih matching fuel cap and seat lock is 312 , lost 100 on rego and to get new rego needs a blue slip and new number plate so another 100.then another 3rd party insurance. so am up for at least 700.undercover cop got it.just got a call to say finger printed so can pick up. BEAUTY.

    was the bike insured? if so depending on your excess may be as well to lodge a claim, all towing costs ect will be covered.

    not insured.have washed the finger print crap off with ct18 truck wash.side covers both cracked, petrol tank bolt missing, tool kit and owners manual gone, bolts missing from side covers and headlight. various wires unplugged and cdi box had been played with.battery strap gone and battery loose.fuel cap screwdrivered but could not open so fuel still there..rhs rear footpeg holder bent.various electronic parts been pulled off lugs absolute mugs destroying property.front guard cracked.

    cannot get new ignition lock from honda as no longer stocked. parts needed add up to over 1200 and the wiring loom has been seriously chopped.theif has gone to ground but is being looked for. is a male in 40,s or 50,s who is a known thief and druggy and if can be pinned will be having a holiday. is a doley with no assets.

    There is a 2nd hand lock set in England on eBay for$60 plus delivery and a harness in Germany for $50 plus post , might not be to exy to gether back on the road ?

    Well the good news is you got it back. Get yourself a GPS tracker. I bought one for $20 and I am sure you could get a better quality unit, but even a cheap one has to be better than nothing.

    ordered a lock set from china to get me out of trouble. wemoto had one but the price difference was orrible.china-56 bucks-wemoto 400.plus freight.

    I'm feeling your pain here risky, my bike was stolen last sunday, luckily got it back off the junkies that claim to have "found it". But unfortunately the ignition was cut and the very front end (headlights, tacho) has taken a dip in a shallow creek, going to be a big job for me as I've tryed to start it with another ignition and got no power at all!
