spark plug leads

    where am i able to get new plug leads for a 3ln? would somewhere like supercheap/repco stock them?

    If they are removable from the coil, then most auto parts suppliers should be able to supply leads. Not sure here, but the FZR runs resistor plugs, so might have wire leads rather than normal silicon resistive leads used nowadays.

    Hopefully some other members may have checked this in the past and know the answer. The silicon leads would probably be OK anyway.

    I looked into this once and found that they were not replaceable. Yours are probably fine they last a long time.

    Some of the FZRs have replaceable leads, even though they aren't on the fiche. It takes a bit of work to get them off.

    Under most circumstances, you don't actually need to replace the leads, just trim them back about 1/4" or until good wiring is seen in the end of it. Unless yours have been on fire, or eaten by a low-flying dog, that should be enough.
