Howdy folks.

As much as I don’t like it, my bike is for sale.
And it isn’t in fantastic shape, so I’m looking to see if anyone is interested in a parts bike.
I just want to get rid of it in one go – not really interested in selling parts off it.

It cost me bout 1500 to get on the road, and I know I’m not gona get that for it, but I’m just interested in seeing if someone might make use of the bike, rather than trading it or giving it to the wreckers.

It’s got just over 43000 k’s on the dial and had an engine transplant bout 7000 k’s ago.
This engine seems to have packed it in – low compression, and just recently, when it ran, it ran rough, and now, it doesn’t want to start.

But it would be pretty good for parts.
Windscreen is in good nick.
Headlights are fine.
Dials are all in good cond.
Fairings are in reasonably good nick. The left side is a fiberglass fabrication. Neither of the front pieces have decals on them (it was gona be painted).
Main seat is good.
It’s had an LK7 (1 seat) conversion, so it has a solid back seat.
Wheels are fine, practically new back tyre (in fact, still has some of the little knobbly things) and the front tyre is legal.
It passed RWC just 3 months ago.
I’m sure it has a lot of other great qualities, but that’s all I can think of just now – any questions, just ask.

It’s in QLD and would be a pick up (or if I’m feeling nice, a drop off in Brizy).

So I’m keen to find out how much interest there is.

Have you tried http://www.quicksales.com.au/ ?

Would suit you if you might find e-bay a hassle.
