Went for a blat across town via some back roads to hang out with the Blue Boys .... first time its ever had its full dress on Bike went like the clappers
Removed a non-standard Honda decal from the rear fairing, swapped out the left switch block assembly and choke knob on Scarlet.
Easy, you walk into a Kwak shop to get a oil filter for your GPZ750 and take a KLR650 for a spin.....find out they have a black old stock 14 model. Next minute your leaving your car in the carpark and the oil filter on the counter and riding a brand new bike home
At it's finest! Nah i had looked at second hand dual sports over the last 6 months on Gumtree e.g V-Strom 650/1000s, KLR650, XR's, XT's, DR's and even a F800GS. But they all had their problems so i bit the bullet and made my first ever "new" purchase. As most of my riding is 90% road commuting to work and the occasional fire track the KLR650 is a good fit
Sold one - Jack has a new owner! Also I'll be looking over a DR250 for him that he's made an offer on.
Dumped the water out of the R6 and replaced it with green 1/3 concentrate coolant. Bike was warming up a bit in the heat and traffic today (bloody country music festival brings all the f$%^wit drivers from around Australia right into Tamworth) and the fan was not coming on.
Thermo fan switch done and nearly ready for dyno day on sat and then I'm thinking of hitting willow bank for test and tune on sat night if anyone keen
Na instead of going to thermo switch straight into on off switch the out to earth point no need for thermo switch
Not much to the bike. ***** wouldn't start. So I left for the Island without it! PI classic time! Crewing with a team which will be good fun Sent from my HTC_0PJA10 using Tapatalk
Fitted the close ratio gearbox into the cases of the 1977 Yamaha IT250D Classic Dirt Track racer. Very pleased with this gearbox. About $100 including shipping from US and it has very low use and is excellent.
