I think my clutch is slipin. When you ride normal it is ok but when you get stuck in to it will just rev off its tits.Has anyone else had this problem before and how can i fix it.Do i just have to put more tension on the cable or is it just something else maybe.

Mine slips when I change from 2nd to 3rd (or maybe 3rd to 4th) if I redline it in every gear.

I suspect that the changeup occurs between 18,000 rpm and 14,000 rpm (rather than a more sedate 16,000 rpm to 10,000 rpm)

    What oil are you using?

The only way your going to fix a slipping clutch is by getting your hands dirty and dismantling the clutch to start with. Once your in there you can do a number of things depending on the condition of the metal and friction clutch rings. If there's plenty of meat on the friction plates and the metal plates aren't worn or damaged then your going to want to scuff up the plates, then clean them thoroughly with new oil, install some new springs (or just use washers under the existing ones to beef it up a little), then reassemble.
Other option is just to do it properly, spend the ~$90-140 for a full set of friction and metal plates and install them as per procedure.

One thing to check - there has to be a little bit of slack in the clutch cable when engaged i.e. just the slightest bit of free play in the lever when its fully forward, otherwise the full spring pressure is not applied to the clutch plates.
