A mate of mine runs an importing business called SMIC, he says it stands for sh1t made in china and it got me thinking about chinese quality, in particular Fairings. Im thinking of buying a new set of fairings for my ZXR250c and have been checking out the offerings on eBay, I can get a full set for about $550 delivered from China, they look good but are they worth buying ?

I  have heard some horror stories about trying to get them to fit, has anyone bought an aftermarket fairing kit ? how did you go ?

So next time you see something chinese,  don't forget to say.. gee thats SMIC :)

    Cheers

    Chris

    Hey Chris
Mate of mine on the coast bought a set of smic fairings. The quality was good, however as with most I've heard the fit was poor. Got me, why is so hard to get a good fit. My mate was obliged to undo all panels but with perseverance he eventually got it done. Asked wether he wold do it again, no reply
