    Hi all,

I've had my bike for about 12 months now and for the last 2 or 3 it's been off the road needing a little bit of TLC. I've got some time on my hands in the months coming so it's time to strip her back a little and get her back on the road.

If anyone knows of anywhere to obtain, or has a copy of a workshop manual, it'd be much appreciated!!! (1987 Honda CBX250)

    Cheers,

    Julius

no manual but maybe this helps a bit ? $(KGrHqQOKokE4uqyuN1WBOZHJjg)7Q~~60_57.JPG as you can see the engine is a XL250R , that shouldn't be a problem finding somewhere, the chassis is something else, let us know if you find some specifications for it
I've got a canadian model, I think, got other rear suspension, no fuel gauge, no lower fairing, other front indicators and a different taillight.

canadacbx25087.JPG this is the one I have, a little bit different but it brings the same smile on my face every time, reminds me of the beach boys song : little honda, think they made this bike for that song cause you only really use 4 gears ;)

Hmm... I was browsing around and saw in several places that these are similar to the XL250. Don't know if that helps.

thanks for all the input legends!

havn't been logged on in a while, been busy! just started stripping the bike down a bit and am about to get cracking with it.

still havn't come across the exact CBX manual so I guess an XL manual will have to do..

I bought a GB250 manual from Japan, text is in Jap but part No's are all you need. Covers all the models produced with excellent exploded views. Cost me 2000 yen, cheap as chips when it comes to the advantages of having the correct part numbers to order.

Yeah I do, but there's over 300 pages. If I can find some time I'll do the engine as anything else will be specific to a GB. Anyone with a gb is more than welcome to ask and I'll give them the individual part no's, or scan a page if nec.
