    Hi all.

    First time posting here.

I recently got myself a ZXR250 and it's got one massive problem. It's missing a lot of screws, mostly for the fairings and one for the fuel tank.

Does anyone know where I can get screws for the bike? and find out which screws go where?

also, I've been trying to reassemble the fairings and I cannot figure out where these 2 black grills go, anybody know where they go?

    I'm located in Bundaberg.

We have a local Kawasaki dealership here in bundy, but as soon as they discovered that my bike was a grey import, they won't even look up part numbers on thier computers.

Weird thing is, they stock a lot of Balius parts.

They are wankers ..... its all about the part numbers not what its used on ...... as with all the Jap big 4 parts are scattered over all types of models and machinery

And the Balius is a good example ..... so that makes them big wankers :help:

I've got a whole list of parts number here that I managed to get off the net, but they won't even look at them.

I went in today and told them the screws I needed were off a 1989 ZZR250, but the part numbers didn't match, then someone mentioned that it might be parts for a ZXR250 and then everyone just stopped doing anything.

managed to get some of them from a hardware store, but I'm still missing a lot of them.

Words of the wise: Kawasaki Bundaberg won't do squat for you if didn't buy your bike through them.

Our resources section has the parts catalogue but its lost in the black hole of the interwebs at the moment

If u do have numbers start with ebay .... and try ebay.com and ebay.co.uk
Even just putting the part# straight into google can bring results.

With something like hex head screws and bolts ..... put zxr hex screws or something like that into ebay and see what comes up .... I think the general fasteners would be pretty common to any Jap bike.

Also for the other non hex screws .... read this

Did u work out where the grills go?

Thanks GreyImport, I was just going to buy a complete rolling shell and figure out the screws from there.

While I have the part numbers, I don't know where they go.

For the grills, I figured out where they go, but there's one problem.

The only screw that I had that fits the threading was too long and gets in the way of the screw that holds the side fairing on.

I had to cut the screw with a dremel to make it fit.

    Wow that does help.

I was wondering why some of my fairing didn't fit properly, I had a few of the brackets facing the wrong way.
