I have plans to be at Phillip Island (with my father in law). May be camping, or may just go down on the Sunday - it all depends what the weather is predicted (which may not mean much) on the weekend. My decision won't be made until the Friday of the race.

Ohh well the race is just one day..but if u wanna camp..ur best going for the 3 days so u get a reasonable spot...the other days are just qualifying and ****.
There is qualifying, they have had minor races (exhibitions/demonstrations really) that go on during those prelim days, etc. You go for the 3 days to get the experience, you go for 1 to see the race. I have been for the 1 day, but not 3. Check out http://www.grandprix.com.au for prices etc. $48 for concession for 1 day, $70 for 3. Camping (concession) is about $40 for 3 days.
