Hey guys, new to the forum and in need of some advice! I’m mid carb clean and rebuild, but I’ve noticed that on the RHS carb the power jet is blocked off, it looks intentional, the jet has no hole like the LHS carb’s power jet? Am I being dim and this is as expected, or do I have an odd issue here? The bike was running fine enough (if a little sluggish) hence the clean out, but this was too odd for me, I couldn’t find any reference out there that the RHS carb should have the power jet blocked off. Tried to get a good picture of the right hand side power jet to show what I mean, the jet has “35” on it, yet it looks intentionally sealed off… I should also add that the LHS carb has a 65 power jet fitted which is not blocked off… Cheers in advance!
Where are you in NZ ? I can probably point you at someone with experience racing the RGV's AFAIK, blocking off one side powerjet was never a performance trick.
