There's a new helmet out that incorporates a lens system that allows the rider vision from behind via a screen mounted above the visor. The British firm that's manufactures these helmets by hand is called  REEVU. These helmets have not been homologated to Australian standards as of yet but the expectation is , it won't be long.
Have a look at the website  www.reevu.com.au
Can't really say too much, a trial might persuade me, really not sure. My mind conjures up many visions I probably don't want to see, remain focused on the road ahead is my priority.
However I intend to be open minded on the subject and see what develops.
                                                                  Cheers  Phil

Wow sounds interesting. But isn't that why our bikes have mirrors? Would be really keen to see how these go though. What will they think of next.
