rear suspention bushes and bearing and oil pressure globe

    hi guys just wondered if you could help me out .i need bearings for rear spring where the bottom bolt holds rear suspention on ...... motorbike shops wont help me find the bearings i need just wondering if you could help me out with the details on the specs of the bearing/ bushes and ill try get them my self..


    also my oil presure light doesnt come on never has since iv had it.funny since its a rwc item,anyway how do i replace globe and are the globes easy to come by... cheers pudd...

    The oil pressure light won't come on because FZR's don't have one. What you have is an oil level switch.... It should only light up if you get low on oil.

    Mine has only come on once so i just toped it up and it's sweet now.

    I'd recommend removing the bearings and taking it down to a bearing shop. They'll be able to measure it up and should be able to provide you with an identical replacement, or at least order it in for you.
    When i recently did my head stem bearings on my bike i discovered that the bearings are used in about ten other bikes aside from just mine and that if i had gone to a bearing shop with the originals it would've cost me about half of what i paid. The down side to that would have been i would not have a bike for 1-2 days whilst i pulled the old bearings on a weekday then got the new ones.
