Hi all i have a question about these pyramid fork seals for 3ln http://m.ebay.ie/itm/390759975200 , how good are they? is there only one size fork seal for the 3ln as i want to get the right ones one of my seals is weeping and going down onto brake disc! Is it big job to do fork seals?
allow 2 hours of free time and it may take that for the first one and 20 minutes for the2nd.not rocket science but take care and bleed forks before you cap.
W'eve tried em all & I can only recommend genuine seals. I've found the aftermarket seals a little too tight & often the dust seals are too loose which is a **** on upside down forks. But remember to do the bushes, just as important as the seals, or she'll leak just the same & maybe worse. I was going to suggest Risky come around & help but I just saw where you are !!! Unless he needs a holiday ??
@Grasshopper can do "All Balls" fork seals for the fizzer. Pyramid parts fork seals always have to be modified to work right. Nothing but trouble with their stuff. @risky has tried the "All Balls" on his 750.
