decided to give her some loving today, pulled the panels off and hooked up the Carbtune, she was a fair way out so I balanced them, I also replaced the tank lock and ignition with one from @Xcitebikes , while she was in pieces, I pulled the top clamp off and checked and tightened the head steam bearings. Time for a test ride !!!!
meant to go for a quick spin around the block, ended up being gone for an hour. So she runs nice and smooth, there is a slight hang when coming back down through the revs which is most likely an air leak, I will order some new insulators and a LiteTek kit when funds allow so I give them a proper once over, something I should have done when we built her up .
@Murdo This one? White Knight Crystal Clear Acrylic is the ideal clear topcoat to enhance and protect your craft and DIY projects. It resists cracking, yellowing and adds a protective coating over both solvent and water based paints. Available in a gloss or satin finish.
just watch your clear is fuel resistant, mine isn't and I spilled some fuel and it ate the clear coat
