So the power pack from the classifieds rocked up, all as described thanks to Jason  :D  and I installed new sprockets last week, that alone stopped it screaming at top end , the max speed dropped 10km but now 140@7500rpm instead of @9000rpm, and fair bit quicker with a noticeable increase in acceleration.
I'll keep regular updates as I put the parts in the parts and try and figure out how to post some photos!
    Stay tuned!!

No worries Danny. Once you receive the Magneto and install the new CDI & Coil, you will have removed the rev limiter (standard CDI). Mine revs out at over 11,000rpm and will just touch 60kph in 1st gear.

** Remember only install the new CDI and coil at the same time as the Magneto. I tried this without the Magneto and it won't idle and stalls.

All up with your sprockets you will have the fastest Megelli around :police:

I'll have to check the old sprockets but I can tell you the new ones are 15 front and 34 rear.

So I've run into and solve the first couple of issues with the power pack. :o

First off is the exhaust, turns out both the megelli stock exhaust and new aftermarket muffler use pipe sizes 'not Australian normal', also the new exhaust has an approximately 18mm bigger inlet then the stock... After lengthy discussions with my local guy  we decided to remake section "b2" (as its marked) in a 'close as possible' stainless piece then chop and weld the end of the stock b2 to it so to not loose the snug fit onto the b1 stock section from the engine. I've pulled the old muffler to bits and so I can cut/modify the outside alloy case (the part with the three mounting points that fit under the seat) and re-use it to mount the new muffler.
It's in the shop now getting bent up, so hopefully it all works... :icon_scratch:

The second part was the new carby, to get the throttle cable to fit, 'modification' was under taken, basically I had to drill the entry hole out along with grind the end of the cable down a little to allow it too fit, it took a bit of fookin around so unless your mechanically minded and have a half decent workshop, don't try this at home, get your local to fit it, however, that said, the response time and the snap back return too idle are on a whole different ball park compared to the piece of junk that came with the bike, worth every cent spent!!! :hello2:
Ill post photos tomorrow of the work so far!

    Hi Mate,

Yeah I had a my Megelli mechanic install the exhaust etc. Being aftermarket parts there is always a bit of modification needed.

Well guys the exhaust is in and done, new carby and cdi fitted, balanced magneto installed, new coil and plug are on, after a bit of fiddling around with the programming of the cdi and the first one shat itself!!! :angry4:
So the bikes running again, figured out that the jets need upgrading in the carby, but Jason has been great, he's been back and forth with his mechanic and with jet kit he's sending me on Monday, I think we should have sorted out all the bugs for anyone looking at the same upgrade. Next up ill do the brakes and suspension, my combo of parts from Jason and from motorcycle moods will mean this will end up being the most modified megelli in existence!! Can't wait for a dump and a track test

    That is soo awesome!!!
WE cant wait to see your results!!!

I was just riding around the other day here in SYDNEY minding my own business when an OBNOXIOUS WHITE Megelli passed me!!

It was so quick and it had all the Bling from Motorcycle Moods on it.
Dual muffler, Carbon stuff and Suspension Front and Rear!

I must admit it sounded much better in real life than from the youtube video!
Seems like theres a lot of nice ones out there!!!

If you guys are looking for Megelli performance parts and don't want to pay ridiculous western prices contact these guys. They are located in Jakarta, speak English, and from my experience reliable.
    https://www.facebook.com/Motori.Racing?fref=ts

Just got a power pack from them, cdi, coil, iridium plug, clutch springs, chain and sprockets, and a voltmeter, shipped to Malaysia for about $300aud. The mechanic at the local Megelli dealership here is doing exhaust mods, bringing my bike by later this week. Got the exhaust and put in a new chamber, wrap it in "carbon fiber" and paint the tip black, plus re jet the carb all for $100aud!!! When its all done i'll post some pics.

    Cheers
