Love these kind of threads on other forums, so one for learner bikes would be sweet  ;D

Anybody got any gopro/contour vids onboard of their rides? I just got my HD hero 2 the other week so i haven't had much time to play with it or even make a decent video (trust me its coming lol!)

Heres a quick test one i did to make sure it all works :)

Nice clear picture it's a shame the visor is so high. Perhaps you could try mounting it on the bike itself. Awesome though I have one somewhere of a cbr250rr run I did I'll try to upload it tonight.

very good quality video the only thing was the fish eye effect at the edge of the picture was a bit off putting. I cant wait for some more as they will only get better the more you play with the camera.

*thread dredge* Anyone got some action footage of their own? :)

My bike is still lame as ever lol but have tinkered with some angles and things. GP Cam rocks :D! Just waiting for the sony microphone to come and hopefully some good sounds will result. The gopro stock mic is rubbish. Next up is a vid of a proper ride C: Wisemans ferry sounds good

I have wanted one for some time, I had a few JB hifi vouchers given to me for my birthday so I went down yesterday for a look. GoPro was on the list as was the latest Sony but both were nudging the $400 mark, even after asking for a JB deal. The sales lady also offered me a JVC HD action camera... it was priced at $389, when I asked about a JB deal, she dropped it to $268...  cha ching.  I also bought a 16gig SDHC card

One of the guys at JB gave me some friendly advice, never film your speedo because if your pulled over... youve done their job for them and its on tape

Followed these 2 today, that the VTR the trainer is riding is the bike I got my license on..  very overcast and blowy, will try for a sunny day and see what footage I can get

That explains why it was shaky but it looks good otherwise hope to see some more videos Chris.

Picked up a action camera to day and had a play with it and I have a great shot of my tool bag  ;D .
So I have repositioned the mount ready for the toy run tomorrow so I hope to have some video of it for you.

One question is what program are you using to edit the video?
