Not reving past 16k and..

    According to the Dyno sheets I have seen, peak power for a ZXR250 is hit just before 16,000RPM , perhaps its a good idea to change gears and ensure your cylinder head doesnt implode at 19,000 RPM (been there done that, twice)

    Most defiantly a good point. Not really planning on revving it out anyway. It's more of a if it can't rev out and there isn't a good reason for it there's still an underlying issue that needs resolving/answering.

    my A model goes past 16k without protest, never know, you may have a Balius CDI lol :lolsign:

    Valves into pistons then grinding sounds, followed by loss of power, swearing then a long walk home

    It's a viscous cycle

    The 180k one is off the later C model i think .
    The dashes get swapped around a lot on these bikes. Hence to say the mileage reading on these bikes is almost always inaccurate. My ones reads 38 thousand on the clock......... :prankster:

    yeah i got the 180km/hr speedo also, bought it with 38k, now has almost 41k
