Just wanted to say hello, I've got a poor neglected 86 FZR250 that I brought as a non runner about 3 years ago, it was a bargain! after much tinkering I managed to get her running, not perfictly but she ran but then due to various reasons she got ignored, I've now decided to get her back on the road the poor things only done 8k so spent most of her life in storage she's been so close to running again but i think the carbs are still a bit blocked she ran for 5 seconds on easy start and man I was jumping about like an idiot but then i had to leave her again so its been about a year since then so hoping she will attempt to run again for me. anyway shes 90% better than she was and got new fork seals and other bits, unfortunately shes been dropped in the past so the top fairing is damage, screen is smashed and o/s mirror needs replacing.
I look forward to getting to know you guys better and any advice you can give me is much appreciated. I love my bike (Gen) very much and would like to ride her more than 100 yards this century!

Hello, sorry I didn't reply sooner had some time off work before christmas so not been able to get online
I just won some new mirrors on e-bay so at least thats one thing down, been charging up my battery so all i need is some petrol and to put her back together see if she runs. I think i've got all the crap out of the carbs last time she ran on easy start and it looked like 3 out of the 4 carb banks were working properly so hopefully i've got the last bit. I really need to get a new fuel filter does anyone know where i can get one?
Thanks
Liz.
