2KR tank cover removal - two screws in front of the seat (need to remove seat), one each side under the plastic seat fairings (need to remove side fairings), one each side inside rubber fresh air intake ducts (can get at by bending rubber ducts back or removing) and two screws from around petrol tank cap (not the one at the rear, but the next two forward) then remove cap.

    Don't know about the levers.

after a bit of hunting around on the site I found the workshop manual for the fzr400... and the specs for the 250 are posted in the same area.. just look for the forum topic fzr 400 manual links... otherwise if ur not willing to print off 400 pages let me know coz I work in the print industry.. pob do it for cheap..printed off 400 pages and bound them the other day... a crap load easir when you got it in ur hands rather than trying to sift thru 400 pages of pdf.....

as for your clutch lever, there are a lot on ebay starting around $10...
can't tell you if the r1 fits....

even found some new aftermarkets for $20....
