Just picked up my new project bike there will be a lot of fun with this one, although it is a goer its a little shabby to look at and the motor is not up to my standard. Hope to get it mechanically sound and reliable before spending money on beautification.

Seems it's the season for acquiring CBR250RR's - never owned or ridden one but by all accounts they're great - congratulations and welcome to the forums

A warm welcome. Relatively speaking, I don't think we get a lot of CBR owners because they go to a CBR250 forum. There are/were two of them because they had a political war or some such and that caused a split. I posted on one of them once and some guy got angry because some other member in South Australia already sold "o-rings" so why should anyone talk to me. Good God! I'm all for free speech, but don't care for power mad lunatics on web forums myself. Most people on this forum discuss, not lecture, and that is what I like about it. There are some smart cookies on here too.
