I'm state-side (USA) in the Seattle WA. area. Seriously thinking about a FZR 250 for some serious fun. Don't know how hard they are to get here, but I can always check into it for free.
Currently riding an 94 FZR1000. I still think it would be interesting to have a bike from both ends of the spectrum though.

Difference

I like to think I can. But by having both, or all three if I throw a 400 or 600 in there, each would teach a different aspect of riding that will better the overall confidence and ability. Throttle control on the 1000 is both crisp and touchy. I feel the 600/400 have the best of both worlds. The 600 pairing up with the 1000, while the 400 pairs with the 250. The 250 now, knife edge handling from what I have heard. Not nearly as much power as the bigger breathern, but ample enough for accelerating the heart-rate. If I have missed the mark, so be it, but I'd still like to have one.

Hey Dude,

Welcome to our forum.
First off, nice selection on having a FZR1000 for a motorcycle.
The FZR250 is a nice bike to ride its smooth and not to bad on power, nothing compared to a 1000cc of course but they are both in diffrent worlds. The FZR250 has very soft front forks but this can be fixed my adding larger slims in the forks and a set of brand new springs and new oil would fix it up. The rear shock seems to handle alot of thrashing, but of course a strip down and rebult with greased bush's would make in alot more responsive.
Engine wise, aslong as the carburetors are tuned correctly there shouldnt be a problem there.

All in all they are a fun responisve bike to ride. And they are easy to ride quick. Any ways nice to have you mate.

Please by all means if you have MSN Messinger add me; Jarmizz@hotmail.com
