    hey all
i recently bought my first motorbike...fzr 2kr...and after having the thrill of riding it for all of 3 hours i got hit up the back by a stoooopid lady driver...completely blind...
so whilst im awaiting for payment from her to fix it up (she dislodged my air box from the carbys...need new rubbers as well as fairing damage) i have attempted to service my bike...being a complete novice i have found this site soooo helpful
but i have hit a small problem...im trying to change the oil filter and have removed two of the 3 nuts on the (slump??) box...the last nut is slipping out of the allen key...ive wd40'd the **** out of the nut n nothing...any ideas anyone...and also is there any trustworthy and reliable mechanics in the s/e suburbs of melbourne???

thanks all n keep up the good work...

ok you could try a pair of vice grips or a small chisel and hammer (not the wood working type) hit the edge of the bolt i think you get what i mean anti clockwise, that should loosen it

as far as to removing the carbs remove the fuel hose remove the choke and throttle cable and loosen the 4 boot clamps , then jiggle them out.

i have always found brighton kawasaki to be honest guys to deal with

If you're going to remove the carbs and it's your first time, just make sure you note where each tubing runs to. Write it down if you need to. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
