    dude all you gotta do is just go down to an autobahn, theres one in doncaster that im pretty sure sells all that kit. As for LED's you can buy this condom type thing (no **** it looks like one) and you can put it over the existing bulbs so you can have all sorts of ****** up colors on your dials. hope it helps bro

    neons on a yellow bike

    I spose the obvious colour to go for would be amber but if u really wanted to stand out either blue or purple but id probably be inclined to go for purple cos everyone has blue. Just a thought tho

    I was going to suggest blue or purple as well on a yellow bike. A guy at the melbourne coffee nights has purple on his silver bike (2003 triumph st) and although it is not something I personally will do it does have some sort of strange appeal to it... Has them under the side fairings as well as above his rear wheel.

    Question re: neons. I know the fzr has a fairly limited battery. Would this cause any issues with it?

    Dean about the neons and leds I am installing some atm and I found that blue seems to be alot brigter than red if that helps at all lol.

    And about the neons that go brighter when you accelerate try sound acivated ones I think they work on a similar principle as you mentioned.

    DOuFINKimSEXY - The battery in a FZR is a 12Volt for sure. Um also I knwo with leds it doesn't realy matter if you connect it up to a 6 or 12 Volt system the brightness is the same, but I am not sure with Neons??

    I will post pics when I have completed it, but first I still need to finish the rest of my bike off.

    lol

    Im installing LEDs on my bike, reason for this is because they cant (well not to often) be smashed by stones like Neons can, they dont take as much batt power (bike batterys act diffrent than cars remember) and I get them for next to nothing. Im using a size that is alittle bigger than a thumb nail (yes quite large for LED) and I got them for free from my fathers company. I put about 3 under rear tyre is it lightes it up so much its amazing. Afew in the engine and fairing and chuck some around under the froun forks and they are bright blue. Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Best of luck dudes

    Damn cool

    I'm thinking the lights thing is way cool, was really unsure what it would do to battery life as even an indicator can drain heaps of power from a bike battery!

    Are the LED's much easier on the battery? they would be pretty easy to wire up as well I would imagine too

    damn damn damn....c'mon guys, you sound like a bunch of rice-boys talking about doof-doof hatchbacks!

    Lights on bikes? No way! <!-- s:sniper: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_snipersmilie.gif" alt=":sniper:" title="Sniper" /><!-- s:sniper: -->

    Each to his own...but I personally think it's a little too showy

    Don't know if you guys are still interested in installing neons, but I popped into supercheap autos the other day and they have neon kits that come with a small battery box (a couple of AA's) so you can install neons without having to worry about hooking them up to your bike battery.
