I'm looking at buying a project bike its complete but in a thousand peices guy is telling me its a suzuki tx250x 84 model can anyone tell me anything about it? link a picture? or something as I cant seem to find anything =S Thanks Dan
Hey Dan Didn't you buy a pretty decent 250 trail bike a while back ? I think there is a typo, its a TS250x not TX250x here is a pic of the TS250x, the ts250 was discontinued in the early 80;s and replaced with the 4 stroke DR250, then in 84 they bought it back with the X , its a 2 banger with 35HP stock... do it !!! for comparison sake - http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/kill...duro-not-yamaha-ktm-honda-kawasaki/1051814813
Boody hell thanks Chris your motorcycle wikipedia! yeah i've got my crf250l still about to buy the FMF stage 1 kit includes- header, muffler, ejk fuel controller, apparently transforms the bike into a new machine! should be exciting, I've been busy building a lot of interesting little toys lately mainly Chinese pit bike and quads haha, I made myself a little chopper with a 140cc pitbike motor was a monster considering it had a 50cc in it before, but I have sold it now. Will have to upload some new pics soon. This ts250x is only $80 don't really know whats there tbh but has 6 rims and tyres included and a 110cc quad motor so cant really lose!
Yeah I reakon if i can get it rolling with brakes doesnt matter if the motors knackered ill put a chinese 250 in it I have here spare.
