Hey I was just wondering how many people are going to the MotoGP. I know Dean has mentioned he was going..who else is heading down??

Btw Dean, im going for an interview tommorow for a position at the motogp....that would be mad. That way I get in for free lol. Next year ill definetely pay to get in though. Not actually expecting anything from the interview though.

In all honesty I don't really like the GOR. Too many tourists and people sightseeing and not paying enough attention on the road. It is a great road, but considering one has to be 'doubly careful' on it, the stress outweighs the enjoyment (for me anyways - several other riders still enjoy it). I have driven it once, rode it once, and I doubt I will do either again unless I am playing a tour guide for family from Canada. There are too many stories of accidents where a car has inadvertently crossed the line to hit another car (and sometimes a motorbike).

And I am assuming you mean that only hotel accomodation is booked out? The campgrounds are usually available 'on the day'...

Have you considered renting a bike while here rather than having yours shipped? I don't know the cost of shipping, but renting is not that expensive - an across for $120 / day (210 for 2 I think), a cbr-rr $165 / day (250 / 2 I think). Look into Garners Motorcycle Hires. (Netriders I think get a 10% discount too...)

hey grendal, its not the hospitality job your applying for is it? I worked on the bar there once, it wasnt too bad,but i wont be doing it again, really bust your chops there and you dont get to see as much action as you like. Could do what my mate did and just get entry on the dayand bail, now why did'nt i think if that???

Yeah..not bar work though..I think its like ticket sales etc. U gotta do 3 hours of unpaid training though..so that defeats the purpose of bailing doesn't it? I mean thats like 60 bucks work..u could buy a ticket for that much.
