Bearings are like electrics can last one spin or forever generally forever as long as they don't go over 110 degrees which they won't in ur engine but I saying that if engine apart and can easily be done no harm in putting new one in as they aren't expensive
Hey everyone, its been a bloody long time since i updated this thread... lots of things have been throwing me off the build like working 72 hours a week and coming home early to find my missus with another guy... moved out and started living with my sister and her husband and weeks later her husband and i found out that my sister has been with another married man who has a pregnant wife for the past 4 months... yep pretty crappy situation hahaha. But on a positive note i have now got my bike licence and i have just recently started working on the build. Motor has had a full rebuild, forks have been rebuilt, new steering head bearings installed, swing arm bearings replaced, new wheel bearings all round with new discs and pads... just recently rebuilt the brake calipers and pretty much all of the consumable parts a bike has lol... anyways time to post some pics!
So as the bike sits, im waiting on new farings and the fuel tank to come back from the paint shop... still need to finish building up the carbs, brake calipers are almost ready to bolt on, then ill connect up all the wiring and install the radiator. Im going to try and have the bike finished in another month or so fingers crossed! Special mention goes out to all the people on the forum who have commented on my posts and have helped me out massively! Thanks guys id be screwed without your help and knowledge
Good to have you back. Sounds a bit 'wild' in the west. With all the new bits your bike will be as good as a new one.
Once your finished come to nsw and sell it to me hahahahahaha. Oh brutal story about the whole misses & sister thing. It's a twisted world we live in.
Putting the family feud aside...........great effort on the bike You certainly have your priorities right, well done
Haha thanks heaps for the kind words guys! It will be a massive reward when the bikes all up and running... ill spend sunday working on her and throw up some more pics!
