    ok....seeing that ill ghave some time off uni n work during the easter break...
    wondering if any melb members wanna meet for a coffee/ cruise or wateva...

    just post up here wat u'd like to do n wen would b a good time?

    ill b off form 24th til 30th.
    we got a few melb members now so wanna c more than just me n dean at these turnouts!

    Lol....ill come dave <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) --> I am hopin to get work during the week though, monday to friday...so I cant commit to any days...weekends I wouldn't bother, they gonna be packed. So yeah ill have to play it by year.

    wats at pi?
    the weather looks fine for the weekend...sat fine n 23, sun fine n 26!
    so im guessin one of these 2 days?

    anyway, which way u heading to pi? i thought it was mainly boring straights?
    gor will b packed with pplz goin away n bak form the long weekend...
    so that leaves up north n north east areas.,...perhaps a run thru the spurs? mayb lake mountain?

    we could do a similar run me and dean done....but say kinglake - healsville - marysvile - lake mountain - warburton - then either head towards dandenong thru the hills or bak to yarra glen.
    thru yarra glen would make it a 300km day.....dande bout 400?

    anyway..suggestions?

    I asked him a few days ago. I have found myself spending less time at the site, and as the site is becoming busier I am also finding myself missing threads (!!!). So I looked at the member list, and looked for a person who is regularly on the site and Grendal is the person with the highest post count (excepting Dean and myself), and he has never 'abused' people on the site and has always tried to help so I asked. (Nobody on the site has abused people actually and most/all have only tried to help, so really the choice came down to who was most active...)

‘B’ class ride to Redesdale with surprise.
Start point: MRA HQ, Unit 5, 2 Quist Court, Dandenong (Melways 95 D5) at 10 am.

Ok, we are not sure who was going to lead this one or what the surprise was to be. If no-one objects, I will lead it [surprise].
Anyone coming from the south or east should be at Quist Crt at ~9:30am for a 10am SHARP departure. Full tanks please.
We will stop briefly at Melbourne-Lancefield Road (outside the Sunbury Golf Range - Melway® 383:B8) to meet up with anyone from the west or north.   We should be there ~11am.
The weather is supposed to be good so the route for the return ride will also be a SURPRISE. -DJ
    Class B rides are usually quite good, and the MRAA tends to get a good spread of rider abilities. They combine adequate breaks wtih the need to ride. I have enjoyed every MRAA ride I have been on - though this one may be different depending on the numbers and the 'type' of rider who attends. I know some people on this site went on a netrider ride organised for l-platers and that was a (very) slow ride, this one will be different and a bit more exciting.

    Anton (you will meet him if you go) rides constantly at the speed limit so don't get behind him if you can help it... not that I encourage speeding of course!

    ah bugger...u guys r hopeless....

    anyway, ride was good, left my place at bout 1pm, went to whittlesea where there was a major traffic jam - caused by a car not giving way at a roundabout!:mad: then got to kinglake where headed to healesville thru toolangi, was great...(clum creek rd), lunch at healesville til bout 2ish. left there to black spur...was realli good, only needed to pass one car, tho there were plenty on the other side.
    there was an accident also, wat seemed like a gixxer (hayabusa i think). then was held up by a guy on a daytona 600! lol....anyway got to marysville n kept goin to reefton. dean decided to try n take some action shots but yeah...didnt turn out very good.
    anyway, dean decided to head off infront even tho he didnt know the way...n kept on goin at the top of reefton instead of stopping. anwyay, im sure he will fill ya in on the details of wat happened.
    so while he was off on his lil adventure i had a chat with some bikers up top of reefton while waited for him. so wen he finally returned headed down the spur. was good, managed to lose one siwngarm end plate n scrape the pegs n my fiarings <!-- s:oops: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt=":oops:" title="Embarassed" /><!-- s:oops: -->
    after that, headed bak home thru warbrton....

    welll..u guys hafta try n make some of these rides....nice weather, not much traffic, wat more can u ask for!

    Yeah well while I was off on my adventure...the windy roads continued and I was having a ball...untill a sign said gravel...and all the sudden the tarmac infront magically turned into gravel....had pressure on the brakes and I was trying to stop, and the front wheel just gave way...bike went down.
    Mirror, clutch lever, and scratched side fairing is the list of damage.
