    MEGELLI ENGINE SWAP


    Anyone with info !? all i have heard is mounts are similar to Honda
    If this has been attempted or done by anyone i would love to see photos

    From troubles it sounds like a good idea. What sort of engine you thinking of using?

    If you're swapping from another model it's never going to be just an engine. You'll need engine, cdi, wiring loom + hacking it to match the lights etc, carbs/injectors, airbox may need thermostat if separate, possibly cooling system parts.

    Biggest issue I can see is mounting the engine & parts clearances, followed by airbox & fuel tank position.

    sell the bike and buy another brand.

    if thinking of changing the engine assembly to say a honda engine sell the megelli for parts and buy a honda and save yourself hassles.
