Masters of Morgan Park May 10th and 11th

    Morgan Park Raceway in Warwick will be alive to the sound of historic bikes on May 9-11th for the 2014 Pirelli Masters of Morgan Park incorporating the 2014 Queensland Historic Road Race Championship presented by the Motorcycle Sportsmen of Qld. All classes of historic machinery from early 1900 machines of Period 1 right up to the newer classics in Period 6 with Pre-Modern and Pre-2K classes providing support.

    It's not all historic machinery, the modern fans will be well catered for with a round of the national BEARS challenge, eligible to motorcycles of British, European, American, Australian and New Zealand design and manufacture. The BEARS formula classes means that bikes compete on an equal footing as they are judged on performance not just capacity. Expect to see some exotic machinery getting around
    the picturesque Morgan Park Circuit and if last year's results are anything to go by, expect lap-records to tumble!

    Entry is $15 for adults (one entry fee for the weekend) and includes a free sausage sizzle! Under 16's are free. The pit area is open and spectators are welcome to walk around and get a close look at the bikes and talk to the riders. Gates open from 7am with bikes on track from 9am Saturday and Sunday. Once the on track action wraps up Saturday evening fans are welcome to come to a meet and greet with Chris Vermeulen of MotoGP fame.

    Morgan Park Raceway is situated on the outskirts of Warwick, approximately 150km SW of Brisbane. Google maps will help you find the easiest route. So pop on out with the family, or ride out with your mates and enjoy both the competition and a ride on your bike.

    I'll be out there racing, there are 6 CBR250RR's racing this round, hopefully all the fancy bikes make up for the lack of 250's on track :p

    Well thats just great....I'd be all over that one if it wasn't for Mothers Day....would of been a great ride out on the little NSR.
