As the title suggests, I think I may have permanently misplaced my key to the zxr, does anyone know if a locksmith is able to cut a key without the ridgy-didge? If so, how much would I be looking at paying, if anyone has had it done before.

If not, I might get another barrel, if anyone on here has one they wouldn't mind parting with that'd be great lol. Are the barrels the same for all zxr250 models, I've seen a zxr250C one on ebay...

    Cheers guys!

    Hey Ed
Chris and I had a locksmith do a key for us a year or so back. Chris will be back mid next week and he may have some barrels with keys but he may have sold them, I'm not certain. So, if you can survive till then I'll check with him on his return, cheers Phil.

Yeah I'm still repairing the plastics so I can't actually ride, but it'll be on my mind until I find it haha

That'd be great Phil, cheers! How much was it to get cut?

I was thinking remove the barrel and bring it to the locky, I wonder if the old key cutter at my shopping center has the skills to do it..

    Thanks guys.

Just rang up a locksmith near me... $150-$200!!!

Wow lol I guess it is a skilled service etc but at that price I reckon I could source one on eBay or through here and save some coin.

$20.00 is what I was charged, remember it well for it seemed rather cheap. Will be in touch next week. Did you tell your locksmith that you did not want to buy shares in his business.:lolsign:
