hey all just trying to diagnose a problem before i get the bike shop to check it out
today i noticed on my left fork arm that there was oil sitting all down the side of it. and it had built up quite a bit of oil where the shiny part of the fork meets the female part. I checked that oil hadnt dripped onto brake disk but all was fine just worried that its a major problem to fix as my bike is my only transport, any ideas would be great help, my guess is that its the fork seals that need to be done but i dont know much about forks or how they fit together so any advice is much appreciated
    thanks

i did mine not so long ago with only the info from this site and manual for the 400 and the only hard part was removing the allen bolt from the bottom cuz the damper was spinning(used a broom stick to stop it). and removing the inner fork from the outer cuz i only hade a small vice(requires alot of force).
