Hi all. I have just recently bought a FZR250 and I know that it is a 3LN, but I don't know how to tell what sort of 3LN it is like a 1, 2, 3 and so on. There is a sticker on it with Jap writing and then 3LN II (roman numeral 2) - 160. It has a single head light and the tail light screws on top of the back fairing. I need to get new fairings for it and am unsure what to get. I would also like to find how I can tell what year the bike was made. I know that it was imported in 1996 and the compliance plate has 1991 (I think) although you could probably take it as 1997. I have never owned a bike before, but would like to get it on the road as soon as. Any help would be great. Hi guys I think I have answered my own question. I'm pretty sure that it is a 3ln3. I have looked at the following website and according to this my bike is http://www.my-x15.net/FZR_INFO.html And I am also assuming it was made in '91 or there abouts. Does anyone know where I could get cheap fairings in good nick. I need the front, the windscreen, the front mud guard and the rh fairing (as you are sitting on the bike). Everything else is pretty good.
You answered your own question! What do you need us lot for! From your description it's most likely a 3LN-3. Good news is that the 3LN3, 5 & 7 all had the same fairings.
Hey Thanks for the replies.. I posted my message and then went browsing. I ended up finding my own answer. Does anyone know of any places where I can get cheap fairings???
