Sooo, my sump has a crack in it along beside the drain plug. it is leaking. I am seeing if it is fixable. If it is I shall delete this thread. If it cannot be fixed, does anyone have a sump (only the bottom half that I need) which they dont need? PM me if you do. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

    Cheers.

Re: Possibly wtb: 3LN3 sump bottom plate. (Aus)

I had the same problem (in a thread somewhere).

Long story short its most likely fixable with an alloy weld but if you go to a mechanics they will take you from behind..

Try getting one second hand, maybe from someone on here or e-bay.

Yeah, I read that thread thanks Metoo. Ta for the info re fixing it. I have just bought a second hand one this arvo for $100+$20 express post from a place in Sydney. Figured if I got a weld job done I would be forever worrying about it from then on.

Hopefully I get the part Tuesday and instalation goes a breeze...(touch wood) Depends if they can save the gasket for me or not.

*note: I will delete this thread in a day or so to avoid wasting anyones time.
