Maybe you need to make it more interactive - maybe more polls - and we need some topics of conversation started that are typical to most riders - things like "war stories" and questions like, "what do you call your bike" or "weirdest thing I've ever done on my motorbike (riding OR stationary)."

    Know what I mean?

Not too sure that I want to know what the weirdest thing you have done on a stationary bike is. <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

haha. No, I haven't done anything along the lines you're thinking.

I haven't even done anything on a moving bike yet - only just got my licence and the RTA is stuffing me around re. registration. Should be all regod tomorrow.

but you know what I mean with those suggestions? that's why it's dying - it's all just statements that people are making, nothing that fuels any debate.

No, not that sort of debate.
Got the bike registered on saturday - rode to Palm Beach and back yesterday with a mate on a CBR250RR.

Very enjoyable, but damn I was hurting by the time I got home last night - sore hands and stiff back/neck. Guess it's something you get used to.

I don't think it is something you get used to - not entirely anyways. But the thrill of riding outweighs any costs associated.

There isn't much that keeps me from riding. Really cold temps, major wet stuff in the hot or cold, and if I need to carry something that will not fit safely on the scoot. Like a 17" monitor.

Isn't that more of a reflection on your puny manhood than the temperature? cold weather only shrinks so much - there comes a point when you've just got to be happy with what you've got.

damn it was cold last night on the bike though...I almost turned around and went straight home.

Inexpensive pants? Try snow skiing pants, bib type. I have used them since I started riding some 20 years ago. Last pair I bought were $20 USD. Toasty down to about 0 C.
