hey all this is kind of an extension of my last post...

so i have purchased some bar end mirrors for my Spada, but i have run into an issue which i was hoping anyone could help with.

Has anyone has any experience getting the inserts out of the handle bar??

i can get the end cap off and i have removed the rubber grips but i cannot for the life of me get the inserts out of the inner part of the handle bar, the i am going to try heating the outside of the bar and seeing if that helps but so far no amount of hitting, pulling or wd40 has helped my mission.

are the inserts threaded at all??

and second issue is, i think i need new instruments as for one at night i cannot see how fast i am going, its not that it doesn't light up its just too opaque and no light shines through so i can see my speed, and second of all the blinker light has stopped working, does anyone have or know where i can get my hands on a new or working instrument panel for a Spada

    please help,

    thanks all

For the instrument panel see if u can pull it apart to replace the "glass" or plastic as im sure it will be if its discoloured....
The other thing to try is cleaning it with toothpaste.....google cleaning headlights with toothpaste

The other thing that will help is replace the old globes with LED equivalents.
theres a stack on ebay....

Spada gauges are rare as hens teeth as the speedo and tacho needles would break off when left in the sun, I have seen them go for $300 for a set in average condition on ebay.  try www.findapart.com.au
