Honda Spada VT250 the story so far
Ok guys now find my self with some time on my hands. (Well competed most of the big jobs the planning department has set) so time to start on those other jobs
Wheeled out the spada into the middle of the shed and tried to start it. Has been sitting there for about 5 years with nothing but neglect ie a blanket over it and a ctec trickle charge to the battery (great piece of kit @ a $100 saves me $130 to buy a new battery when I get the urge to start her).
Any way she starts after a couple of try’s (success) but sounds rough as an old lawn mower and won’t idel without the choke on (bummer)

    So
    Changed the fuel, fuel filter
Striped out the air box and carbie cleaned the carbs
    No joy
Pulled out the carbies emptied the bowels and gave them a bit of a blow out with the compressor
Broke the fuel joiner in four places taking them out plastic piece of sxxt. Got a new on of these made up out of steel much better
Putting the carbs back in I have now broken the choke cable screw in nut another plastic piece of sxxt which bring me to here. Any one know where I can get new parts for a spada grey import I have tried Honda before but the guys near me just sold me a load of parts that did not fit(misserie

You need to strip the caby's right down, anything screwed in/on etc
Make sure you get all the rubber's out of it too
