Help Honda CBF250 main harness compatibility 04 vs 06

    Hi riders & wrenchers

    Q) Are the Honda CBF250 main harnesses all the same and are they interchangeable?


    We’ve restored a CB250 2006 and had a recent garage incident and the main harness got fried.

    The original main harness reference for the 2006 is:-

    32100-KPF-790/0-C1 (from the yellow sticker).


    The harness from Ebay was advertised as suitable for the CBF250 2004- onwards is

    32100-KPF-850/0

    I’ve phoned the local Honda dealer and their records don’t go back that far.

    1937 Royal Enfield 250, CF Moto 250 V5, Honda's XL250, CBR250, FT500 plus a few others.
    The main description numbers are the same ie 32100, and the bike identity letters KPF are the same and the succession numbers are similar so should fit.

    Many thanks for your reply.

    I’ve now attempted to fit a Honda CBF250 2004 harness onto a CBF250
    2006 bike and there are plugs missing on the 2004 harness. No 2 ping ignition plug.
    They’re not compatible.

    2 ‘pin’ ignition plug red & black wires is missing on the 2004 and needed on the 2006 harness!

    Wrench safe, ride safe and back safe all!
