    Hi,

My names is Bryce and I recently purchased a 81 gsx250 that I plan on making a cafe/brat bike with.
I live in South East Melbourne so if anyone is keen for a ride let me know. I am currently having a issue with the startor motor (I think) and will have it fixed soon, hopefully!

They are great looking bikes for a cafe build. Do you have workshop?

Welcome Bryce. I'm in Oakleigh South, but the weather's shyte at the moment, so no rides just yet. Might try and organise a ride down to the Island Classic later this month (I'll post that in the right area of the site).

Also, Streetmaster, I've got a 1980 GSX250 in the shed that I'm planning on getting going soon. Do you mind if I pick your brain occasionally? Unlike Bryce, I'm going to keep the original look. I might post a few pics.

No probs, as long as you're willing to pay the call out fee up front! :p

I dragged the GSX out last night and took a pic. Started on choke but not running 100%. Might pull the carbs off and give them a clean when I get some time (?).

Yes, it is in good condition. Needs new decals, but otherwise pretty tidy. Lovely little bike. Might have to sell it if I can't make time to ride it.

You're right Phil. Compared to working on the ZXR it's a real pleasure. No need for monkey fingers or scrapped knuckles working on this old girl.

Easy to work on..........easy to ride as well with a more upright riding position, you can cruise all day. Think I'm a fan :thumb_ups:
