Hey guys and girls how are you all?
My name's Jason and I'm from Perth. I own a Jet Black 1992 CBR250RR with the full Tyga kit and chrome cbr/fireblade stickers with a nice sounding carbon fibre slip on. Its my first bike (of many I hope) and so it really is my first two wheeled love... :)

Hahaha, just hop on and stick it in neutral and do the awkward waddle forwards
    What happened to it?

Let me clean the carbies first, it's been sitting for a while. And swap the muffler over to the Megacycles. Gotta get it in race trim!

Well just one day whilst I was on the ride home from work (literally I was just about home) it just started making a really loud noise and the all of the sudden it just gave up as I pulled into my driveway... :idk:
Unfortunately I pulled the dipstick and it was laden with metal shavings and all...

It was a sad day... A VERY SAD DAY INDEED!

My Mc22 gave up similarly. I had just left my house (probably 2kms away) and was rising through the RPM, almost at a gear change (around 9k RPM it was at) and then clunk clunk clunk and I immediately pulled off and it stalled and I knew it was toast. So I chucked it in neutral, hit the starter and after a little bit she fired right up, so running on 2 cylinders, I turned around, rode home parked it and then took the car. I had already thought about getting another engine prior to it blowing as a spare and knew the cost of fixing it outweighed getting another one (especially a failure of this type) so I wasn't too concerned about riding it home. It struggled to get up the hill to my house though!

    Yeah bugger!
So did you find another engine? And if so how much did you get it for? Was it running?:)

I got another engine for $400. Waited for about a month. Just post up ads on various forums and Gumtree. I plugged the new engine in and it fired up right away, no problems. The kid I got the engine off had crashed ruined his forks, so he had bought a whole bike and was parting out the rest of it.
