Gday 2fifty peeps Was referred to this site and looks like a nice place for all the 250 owners, thanks for havin me Newbie rider here with a good old Suzuki GSX250 '93 which I just scored yesterday. She's got her issues but loaded with character and it seems additude as she's givin me issues already So hopefully I'll be able to find some good info for my weekend warrior repair attempts first of which will be how to get the seat to release as seems like the magnetic lock doesn't want to budge. Luckily the man bag compartment releases and sometimes the fuel tank but all part of the fun. Newho thanks for havin me peeps, look forward to checkin out some of the site.

There is no magnetic seat release, you get the seat off using your key, the release button is for your fuel filler , where in Brisbane are you ? I'm at Wellington point
oO damn and here I thought it was a magnetic release like the manbag compartment hehe .. I did try the fuel release and was working yesterday when I bought her but today was playin up and hella sticky not releasing ;-\ .. Will have a good looksee tomorrow. Oo nice mate not far from mine .. Im in Mount Gravatt
