Hi guys, i'm pretty new to the bike scene as i got my L's November last year. My first bike was a kymco ck125. great little bike but unfortunately tops out at about 90. I then found out about the daelim VJF 250 and did a little research and found out they are not a bad bike. Bought a black one (wanted white but didnt want to wait) which i have now owned for close to a month. Great little bike, has enough power for what i want and have recently placed an official VJF sports pipe on it.

    So once again, HELLO!

    Hey Amok Zar,

Welcome to the forum, everyone who owns a VJF250 seems to have nothing but great things to say about it. I like the look of that pipe, can you provide details on how much it was and where you bought it from ? I thought Screaming Demon were the only ones with an aftermarket can for your bike.

    Cheers

    Chris

Hi Chris and thanks for the welcome!

The pipe is made by daelim themselves (apparently) was quoted $500 installed but being a repeat customer i got it for a bit less. I bought the pipe from central coast motorcycles and scooters (same place i bought the bike brand new). I've seen a few companies that make pipes for the VJF250. EFI IXIL Xtrem Black Oval Exhaust is one other example. The new pipe is MUCH louder then the stock one and allows the bike to rev much more freely.
If you have any more questions on it i'd be happy to answer :) thanks again for the welcome!

    Dave

    Hey Amok Zar
Welcome to the forum, great choice in bikes. Have always been a fan of the Daelims, they seem to be a reliable and a good looking bike to boot! As for your pipe, that thing is HOT!!!!!
We have had members from not just Australia but around the globe praise the bike. Keep us posted on your journey with the VJF250. Again Welcome and as always enjoy the ride!

Thanks for the welcome Phil. So far done nearly 800kms on the bike, have yet to have any issues with it. Fantastic little bike that leaves me smiling after every ride.

I have yet to see another daelim with the same pipe as mine but i have to admit... it really suits the bike and does give it a bit more power (i especially love the silver plaque on it).

Once again Thank you for the welcome and stay safe everyone! :)

Hi Jodace, Sorry for the late reply. I have recently sold the Daelim with a tad over 5,200km on it. i had literally no problems with the bike but have upgraded to a 650. Honestly i have not got a single bad thing to say about the daelim.

On a side note i did lend the bike to TastyHamSandwich to do a review and would be happy to link the youtube link if the moderators do not have an issue with that.

Thanks for your reply, I seen TastyHamSandwich's review, good to see a recent review, there are only a couple of good ones in english, I will be getting one in the next few months unless I get a second hand ninja 300 for around same price(they are getting cheaper with very low k's)

This was TastyHamSandwiches review of my Daelim when i had lent it to him. It has the aftermarket exhaust (as seen in my photos) in the video. Had about 5,000kms when he took it for a spin :)
