The latest issue of "2 Wheels" magazine has an interesting article, perhaps I should re phrase that to a most disturbing one! The article is titled "Is your helmet legal".

Well, my blood was boiling after reading this article. The total incompetence and bureaucratic nightmare outlined in this article makes one wonder how both State and Federal Government can get something so wrong.

The article in question is a full 2 pages long and I would urged everyone to read it and perhaps we then discuss the issue. This is something that affects each and everyone one of us, so please read it and lets talk later.

My copy of 2wheels finally arrived yesterday and the article is very intersting.

My helmet is approved by a jas-anz approved certified company so I am safe in NSW QLD & NT. looks like a trip to the agm in Mildura next year is out of the question as my helmet won't be legal south of the boarder.

    How stupid is this !!!

If you have a accident and receive a head injury with a non approved helmet that happen to have a sticker on it that says it is approved to a non existent standard are you going to be covered by your insurance or ctp???? Should we all become outlaws and not follow any rules and say that we are just following the governments lead?
