Goin for Pinkslip/Rego on friday a quick Q !

    when you have the ignition turned on, on your bike can you pull the key out ??

    Well I guess i'm trying to say on my bike you can pull the key out, will this pass ? I know with a car it don't pass but a bike has a kill switch.

    I can pull my key out. Very convenient for warming up your bike while locking the front door on the house on cold mornings.

    I don't know if this is roadworthy though. But I think it is typical of most bikes, so I assume it is. (Mine passed with it like that... of course I think the guy who I bought my bike from got a dodgy roadworthy - my horn wouldn't work and the running tail light (not brake light) was blown when I first picked it up)

    By the way - when I read the topic of this I first thought you meant you were racing for pink slips. Made me think of the movie Grease, when Danny took on the opposing gang for the rights of pinks for 'Grease Lightning'. He won.

    Thanks boz but I got it done today and passed <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) --> well it wasn't very hard the guy looked at the bike for about 15seconds then done the paper work hahaha.

    All he done was checked the lights and indicators worked.

    Oh and if anbody is interested it costs $16.60 for a pinkslip in N.S.W

    Dean, I'm from Newcastle man, I thought it was cheap too for the amount of time spent looking at the bike he got a good deal ;)

    ahh tahts right u live in whoop whoop hehe..
    going for my Ps on Jan 30th after that i be up for a ride to Mount white . i will hopefully have other riders from sydney 2 so we can go for a run with james as well when ur ready after that date.
