Well I went riding today :D ...... but sadly she came home in a box :commando:

Bike went well , even with my dodgy gear changing.
It ran tight and handles well .... even though I wasnt breaking any speed limits (well only once)

After about 45klms it died when I stopped to u-turn to go back home ..... wouldnt rev again (like before carby rebuild)
After sitting under a tree for half an hour , it started and went like stink untill I hit 12o then the tank was too low and she spluttered to a standstill ...... back under a tree again and waited for the pickup crew (thanx again Murdo)
Great thing was the number of people who stopped to see how I was ...... about 8? ..... half of them were soccer mums in their SUVs :lolsign:

Ill discuss the technical issues in my Fizzer thread but in the end ..... **** THAT WAS FUN while it lasted

    :dance2:

Bravo GI,:thumb_ups: good to see you got out there and took her for a spin. One big surprise, thought it was only Harleys that liked riding in the back of utes! oh sorry, and cattle dogs.
To our mate Murdo, thanks for rescuing the lad, you just never know what they get up to.
Must be pleased with the progress so far, just small minor things to finish off. Well done.:thumb_ups:

There was really nothing wrong with Grey's bike, he just came to some roadworks and didn't want to get it dirty. :lolsign:

Sounds like the fuel filters may be blocking if it's running out of legs after a run - she looks very nice indeed even half dressed. I didn't realise that you also done the barrels, cylinder head and cam covers black. It looks good

    peace out

good to see you are running the red antifreeze.lasts better than the green and is better for the alloy.
