I've noticed a little mechanical clicking noise, when the bike is off (when it's on the engine is just too loud). When i'm in neutral and i move the bike forwards and backwards there is this clicking noise around the gearbox area. Not sure if it's because i'm out of gearbox oil??? If i put it in gear and press the clutch in, the noise seems to dissapear or at least it's much quieter.

bikes tend to use a single oil type for everything: Lubricating the engine, the transmition (gear box), and for burning with the fuel… so there's not a specific oil just for the gearbox.

You can check the oil level through the little window on the right hand side of the bike. To check it make sure that the bike's warmed up (oil expands as it warms up, so you will get a different reading) and that you've got the bike held up verticly.
