    Hi guys just wondering if you can select second gear without starting the bike its a zxr 250c 94 havent got to ride it yet and just want to check gear box is ok . I can only select 1st and neutral carnt start bike yet so any info whould be good. thanks Ken

    I would think u should be able to select any gear with the bike not running .... even without using the clutch.
    You may have to rock the bike back and forwards to help.

    If the bike has not been used for awhile might make it a little harder.

    with my bikes if bike not moviving can only pick up one gear so wheel the bike and see as the gears will turn from output shaft.

    I have trouble selecting gears on mine whilst its off. if I don't rock it forwards

    thanks guy`s i`ll give it a try i heard that was the case but was not sure.
    also just finished my tank
    what do you think not perfict but looks good on the bike
    just waiting on pump body and my custom pipe
    and some r6 mirrors

    i see kens yard needs a mow and the bbq has not been used for a while, i reckon ken could paythe fares and cook a barby while we mow the lawn.pmsl. bike looks neat ken and the stick on carbon fibre gave me an idea.

    cover the rear wheel hugger and cover scratches on the tank. could also cover plastic side panels.

    That would look sweet
    don't forget to use hairdryer on the folds and use the 3m carbon it dosent crack when it cools down good luck
