    love it! haha

ah its just a pain in the rear end but thats life and motor racing, well used to it at this stage :)

im searching at the moment, i want to try find a good working engine, was considering a rebuilding but now i dont really see it as an option.

I'll carry on looking in the shaddows until the right thing comes along, maybe its a blessing as it will get me to actually do work on the ninja :p

but wither way i'll keep you all in the loop :)

Oops! I made a grammar mistake. See what happens when you cut and paste.

Back on topic. Racing is about money and pain with the occasional bit of excitement.

So the other night i pulled motor apart......finally decided i needed to know what damage i did back in July :)

i think the pictures really show how hard i tried to make sure that engine never saw use ever again......
    IMG_2435.JPG IMG_2436.JPG IMG_2437.JPG

It took a bit of effort for the piston to be smashed out of the cylinder.
    IMG_2438.JPG IMG_2439.JPG

apart from the hole and cracks in the casing......check out the chunks taken out of the crank......
    IMG_2440.JPG IMG_2441.JPG

Ahhhhh so i went through the gear box.....and all looks to be OK.....yay....spare gears :)
    IMG_2442.JPG

more chunks taken from the casing.....
    IMG_2443.JPG

so i have yet to full examine the head.....it looks ok....but again a few makes on the valves so its questionable...

bit of time and effort been spent with the little fizzer.......i'll keep you all updated, but with it been xmas and all that jazz, money is an issue so all i'll get to do over the next few weeks is strip and prep for things to come :) watch this space.......

Nasty! Touch wood that my FZR400 has no such problems.

so sadly this bike is no longer a project, it has now been stripped for parts to help others on their way! Thanks for following and supporting this thread and for all the positive support you have all given, but unfortunately the fizzer's time is up. @kiffsta you can close this one.
