So i changed the oil filter on the fzr tonight and what a (no swearing) around it was.
I thought i would do a write up to make it easier for the next person to do.
    1. Drain old oil
    2. Remove whole exhaust system
    3. remove old filter located under the sump plate.
    4. new filter in
    5. put exhaust systemm back on
    6. Fill with 2.2ltrs of oil
    7. Step back and take it all in and remind yourself to take it to yamaha next time.

stock! Such a pain in the bum. I need a different can as some idiot took the baffles out of mine and its way too loud. But at least it has new plugs, oill and Oil filter now. And i also fixed the pre load in the back. All and all totally different bike to ride. Next is a new exhaust and clutch kit.

Hey len, your welcome to have a look in my shed for exhausts, I might have something that fits. I am happy to help you with the clutch, just pick up some plates and we can fit them.

    cheers

MCS sell clutch fibres, they are usually about $10 each and you should need 6 of them, else there are kits on Ebay.

    Hey Slender
Ever thought about trying the old fashion way with your exhaust. Simply insert some steel wool into the can, the effect is instantaneous

Might a little but the sound will be noticeably less, I have done it myself years ago and it worked for me.
